And there was, of course, knitted elements in the bridal outfit. The lovely dress from Norwegian designer Cecilie Melli needed a bolero, as the weather this Summer has been dreadful. Luckily the yarn we chose was warm, cause it was the worst wedding weather ever! However, the wedding was superb and the bolero looked fantastic. It´s easy to knit and it´s size small.

What we used
6 balls Sulka
US needles 10

Gauge
4"=17 stitches

How we did it
Cast on 35 stitches on US needles 10 (start using double pointed and swap when you need to)
Knit in the round.
Knit 2 rounds.
Then start knitting the moss stitch, knit 1, purl 1 (Make sure you knit over the purl and purl over the knit in round two, as you shoud automatically, as the stitches have uneven numbers)
Knit 5". Knit the next round while you are increasing one stitch in every stitch, and two stitches in the last stitch of the round=71 stitches.
Keep on with the moss stitch until the piece measures 12".
Cast off loosely.

Knit another piece just like the first one. Assemble the pieces in the back for about 8". Go ahead and get married;)

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
