start knitting in stockinette and place markers (PM) on the beginning of the next round, and then with intervals of 21 s inbetween = 4 markers in total.

Using colours
After the first solid field, we knitted every second round in alternating colours to create a fading effect. Make sure to measure in the front, vertically (straigh down). Start the fading field after 7.5"  in the solid colour, oand knit the fading filed for about 5.5”. Repeat this for every field.

Round 1: K1, make 1 left *knit until 1 s remains before the next marker, make 1 right, K2, make 1 left*
Repeat from * to* to increase at the next 3 maskers, knit until 1 s remains before the marker at the start/end of the round, make 1 right, K1.
Round 2: Knit in stockinette

Repeat these 2 rounds until you have increased a total of 23 times = 268 s, and stop after round 1.

The body
Knit 1 round in stockinette and place 23 s on each side of the markers in the sides (marker 2 and 4), 46 s in total on some spare yarns or needles for sleeves.
Place markers between the front and back pieces, under the sleeves = 2 new markers.
Knit the remaining 176 s in the round like this:

Round 1: *K1, make 1 left, knit until 3 s remain before the next marker, SSK, K2, K2tog, kniit until 1 s remains before the next marker, make 1 right, K1.* (You decrease in the sides to continue creating the v-shape.)
Repeat from * to * until end of round.
Round 2: Knit in stockinette.

When the garment is about 13” measured lying from the top of the shoulder and straight down along the side, knit every third round 2 like this to take the dress in a bit in the sides:
Round 2: *Knit until 3 s remain before the marker in the side, SSK, K2, K2tog*
Repeat from * to * 2 times intotal, knit the rest of the round.

You should decrease like this 8 times in total 144 s. When the piece is 37” lying flat (the top is the top of the shoulder, the bottom the lowest point in the dress), knit 1 round while decreaseing 4 s between each of the 4 markers = 128 s.
Knit a rib, K1, P1 for about 2». Cast off, not too loosely.

Sleeves
Make sure to use colours in the same way as on the body.
Keep the markers at the top of the slleves and place one more at the start of the round, under the sleeve.
Knit the 46 s in the round like this:
Round 1: K1, K2tog, knit until 1 s remains before the next marker, make 1 right, K2, make 1 left, knit until 3 s remain on the round, SSK, K1.
Round 2: Knit in stockinette

When the sleeve is about 5.1” measured from under the sleeve, knit every second round 2 like this:
Round 2:
K1, K2tog, knit until 3 s remain on the round, SSK, K1.

After decreasing 5 times in total, knit a rib, K1, P1 for about 1.4”. Cast off.
Sew under the sleeves.
