Pattern:
Cast on 112 stitches on US 4 needles with base colour. K2, p2 for about half an inch. PM in the beginning of the round and after 56 stitches. This is the vest´s sides

Continue in stockinette for 8 inches. Knit until you have 4 stitches left until the first marker. Cast of 8 stitches. Repeat for the other side. Knit until you are at the middle back of the vest. Put aside your piece while you make the arm edges.

Arm edges:
Cast on 44 stitches on US 4 DPNs with base colour. K2, p2 for about half an inch. Cast off the first 8 stitches of the next round. Make another and place them onto the circular needle with the body piece. You will need an extra needle to keep some of the stitches on while you get them on there. Make sure everything lines up right. You want the cast off edges facing eachother. Knit back and forth from now on.

Daisy piece:
Switch to colour 1.
Row 1: K, M1 at the end of the row. (you will have 169 stitches alltogether)
Row 2: *K1, P3tog, (don´t let the stitches of the needle), YO, Purl the same 3 stitches together again* K1.

Switch to colour 2.
Row 3: K.
Row 4: K1, P1, *K1, P3tog, (don´t let the stitches of the needle), YO, Purl the same 3 stitches together again
* K1, P1, K1.

Switch to colour 3:
Repeat row 1 and 2.

Switch to base colour.
Knit one row while decreasing 28 stitches evenly. Decrease by knitting 2 stitches together. (It will be about 3,8 stitches between each decrease, alternate between 3 and 4)

Knit one row.
Repeat from beginning of daisy piece until you have 3 more rows of daisies.

Switch back to base colour.
Knit one row while decreasing 28 stitches evenly. Decrease by knitting 2 stitches together. (It will be about 3,8 stitches between each decrease, alternate between 3 and 4)

Knit one row.
Repeat from beginning of daisy piece until you have 3 more rows of daisies.

Switch back to base colour.
Knit one row while decreasing 29 stitches evenly. Continue in the round, K2, P2 for about half an inch. Cast off very loosely. You might want to use a bigger needle to make sure it don´t get too tight.

Assemble and wear!
