Front and back pieces
Knit the front and back pieces in one piece (= 101 s), back and forth, but on the first row increase 4 s on each of the front pieces, 6 s on the back piece and make 2 new s under each sleeve by making backward loops
= 119 s.
Continue in stockinette until the piece is 14.1”. Leave the s on the needle.

Front bands
Use the same circular needle as for the front and back pieces and PM (to mark the corners) in each end of the needle. With each end pick up about 62 s along each of the front pieces. Knit garter stitch back and forth and increase by the markers in the same way as on the yoke on every row from the right side. After about 0.4” make 7 button holes evenly on the preferred side by K2tog, YO.
Continue in garter stitch (increase in the corners) and cast off when the front bands are 0.8”.

Sleeves
Cast on 2 new s and knit the sleeve stitches on DP needles. PM between the 2 new s to mark the beg. of the round. Knit stockinette in the round and knit a decrease round like this every 3 cm a total of 5 times: K1, K2tog knit until 3 s remain, SSK, K1.
Knit 0.8” in garter stitch when the piece is 6.3”. Cast off. Knit another sleeve.
Sew under the sleeves and weave in ends.

OVERALLS
Knitted bottom-up.

Legs
We knitted stripes of 6 and 6 rounds.
Cast on 40 s on DP needles. Knit stockinette over the next 0.6”. Purl 1 round for fold in edge and measure form here.
Continue in stockinette. Every 0.8 knit an increase round like this a total of 10 times: K1, make 1 left, knit until 1 s remains, make 1 right, K1.

The leg should be about 7.8”. Increase in the same way on every second round a total of 4 times = 68 s.
Put the piece aside and knit another leg.

Place the legs on to the same circular needles. Cast on/make 4 s between each of the legs = 144 s. PM at the beginning of the round which is in the center of the 4 new s in the back and with 36 s in between = 4 in total.
Continue in stockinette until the piece is about 15.8”.

On the next round decrease like this in the sides:
*Knit until 2 s remain before the marker in the side, SSK, K2tog*. Repeat between * and * to increase in the other side, knit until end of round.
Decrease like this every 0.8” a total of 6 times = 120 s.

When the piece is about 19.6” knit garter stitch over the next 1.2”, before decreasing 8 s evenly, 4 on the front piece and 4 not he back.
Knit 2 rounds in garter stitch before casting off 4 s in each side, 2 s on each side of the side markers.
Knit the front and back pieces separately from here.

Back piece

K2tog at the beg. of each row, once on each side = 50 s.

K2tog at the beg. of each row until 10 s remain. Cast off. Knit another strap.
The straps are quite long so you can adjust them by placing the buttons where you want.

Front piece
Knit as the back piece until where you cast off the center s.
Knit each part in garter stitch over the next 0.8” before making button holes:
K 9, cast off 3 s, K 9.

Knit the other piece in the same way.
Sew in the crouch, fold in the lower edges and sew them to the wrong side.
