Breezy Winter Baby Blanket

We´ve knitted up the Breezy Summer Baby Blanket in a Winter version, and we love it. Abuelita Baby Merino is a fingering weight 1-ply yarn with some irregularieties. It´s just perfect for this pattern. The stripes makes it motivating, and the pattern is just gorgeous, as well as quite simple;)

Needles
US 7 20" or longer circular needle

Yarn
400 g Abuelita Baby Merino, 4 different colours

Gauge per 4"
18 s

Measurements
52 stripes of different colours = about 28x32"
Pattern
Cast on 126 stitches. Repeat the following 8 rows until you are out of yarn. We knitted an irregular stripe pattern.

Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: K6 *1 YO, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 1 YO, k6*
Row 4: Knit, dropping the YOs off the needle.
Switch colour
Row 5: Knit
Row 6: Knit
Row 7: K1 *1 YO, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 2 YOs, K1, 1 YO, K6* end last repeat K1 instead of 6.
Row 8: Knit, dropping the YOs off the needle.
Switch colour

Tip: To avoid loose ends, knit them in as you go;)
