Butterfly wristwarmers

Materials
2 balls of Pickles Extra Fine Merino
Double pointed needles, US 10
Gauge
4"=15 stitches
How we did it
Use US 10 needles and double strands of Pickles Extra Fine Merino, cast on 28 s (7 on each needle)
Knit in the round.
Knit one round, purl one round, knit 4 rounds.
On the next round you start knitting the pattern like this:
1th round: K 1, slip 5 with yarn in front, K 9, slip 5 with yarn in front, K 8
2nd and 4th round: Knit
3rd and 5th round: Like round 1
6th round: K 3, gather the yarn in front from the previous rounds by sticking the needle under the yarn from the top. YO and pull the yarn back up making a butterfly-shape. Put the loop on to the left needle (make sure there´s no twist, and that the stitch is “facing” you) Knit the loop and the following stitch together, K 13, repeat the butterfly-shape, knit the rest of the round.
7th, 9th and 11th round: K 8, slip 5 with yarn in front, K 9, slip 5 with yarn in front, K 1
8th and 10th round: Knit
12th round: K 10, gather the yarn in front from the previous rounds by sticking the needle under the yarn from the top. YO and pull the yarn back up making a butterfly-shape. Put the loop on to the left needle (make sure there´s no twist, and that the stitch is “facing” you) Knit the loop and the following stitch together, K 13, repeat the butterfly-shape, knit the rest of the round.
Repeat these rounds until you have 5 rows of butterflies altogether (you´ll have to stop after round 6 the last time).
K 4 rounds, P 1 round and K 1 round. Cast off.
