C6F: place 3 s on a cable needle in front of the work. knit the next 3 s. knit the s from the cable needle.

Cast on 139 s. Work 4 garter ridges before starting on the rows below:

Row 1: K6s. *P1s, k6s*. Repeat between * and * throughout the row.

Row 2 and every even numbered row until row 20: K7s, *P6s, K1s.* Repeat between * and * until 6 s is left on the needle. K6s.

Row 3: K6s, p1s. *C6F, P1s, k6s. P1s* Repeat between * and * until 13 s is left on the needle. C6F. P1 s, k6s.

Row 5 and 7: As row 1

Row 9: As row 3 (NOTE: Work cable)

Row 11: As row 1

Row 13: K6s, p1s. *K6s, p1s. C6F, p1s* Repeat between * and * until 13 s is left on the needle. K6s, p1s, k6s.

Row 15 and 17: As row 1

Row 19: As row 13 (NOTE: Work cable)

Repeat these 20 rows until the blanket measures about 35". Stop after a row 20. Work 4 garter ridges.  Rinse the blanket, block lightly with your hands and dry flat.
