Repeat between * and * until end of round = 160 s.

Front and back piece
Swap to US 3 and colour 2 and knit 1 round in stockinette.

When the rib is 2” increase like this:
P1, *K6, make 1 right (purl the new s), P2*.

Repeat between * and * until 8 s remain, K6, P2.

Part the work at the markers when the rib pattern is about 7.8”.
Knit the front and back piece seperately from here in the same rib pattern. As you will have to knit back and forth, make sure to purl the knit stitches and knit the purl stitches from the wrong side to maintain the pattern.

Start knitting the front piece. Leave the s on the needle when the piece is about 15.4”.

Knit the back piece in the same way.

Use kitchener’s stitch and assemble the shoulders (look it up on youtube.com if you’re unfamiliar with it).
Start at the far end of each shoulder and work the first 26 s in each side.
Cast off the rest of the stitches.
