Easy egg-warmers

YOU`LL NEED
Pickles Extra Fine Merino, 5 different colours

Crochet hook G (or 4,5 mm, not available in US sizes)

How we did it:
Round 1:
Make five stitches in a chain.  Make a ring by putting the hook into the first stitch and close it with a slipstitch.
Make one chain stitch.

Round 2:
Make five puffs with the ring as the center.
* yarn over hook, put the hook into the ring, yarn over hook, pull hook back up*
Repeat from * to * three more times. Yarn over hook, pull through all the loops, yarn over hook pull through the two remaining loops.

That´s your first puff. Make two chain stitches and start the next puff. You need four more. Always make two chain stitches between each puff. When you have five puffs, you finish off with a chain stitch and close the ring of puffs with a slipstitch in the first stitch of the round.

Round 3:
Turn. Change colours. Make a chain stitch.

Crochet two puffs into each hole in the previous row. You´ll make ten puffs in total on this row.
Always make two chain stitches between each puff. Close the ring in the same manner as before.

Round 4:
Turn. Change colours. Make a chain stitch.

Crochet one puffs into each hole in the previous row.
Always make a chain stitch between each puff. Close the ring in the same manner as before.

Round 5:
Turn. Change colours. Make a chain stitch.

This time, make one chain stitches between each puff. Close the ring in the same manner as before.

Easy egg-warmers

No matter how you like your eggs, you might be interested in keeping them warm until you want to eat them? This is a prefect project for your scrap yarn. Crochet these in a single colour or experiment with multiple colours. They remind us a bit of granny squares, but they´re made using the decorative puff stitch. Put some of these egg-warmers on your breakfast table this Easter, or make some for one of your egg-loving friends.
