You really feel like a domestic godess using your own knitted dishcloths. And these are really good oo! Choose between plain garter or the elegant brioche stitch. Both are super easy! We used Safran cotton, double yarn. Use whatever leftover cotton you have lying around and adjust needle size and number of stitches to get them exactly the way you like.

Garter stitch cloth

We used US 13 needles and double strands of Safran cotton.

Cast on 32 stiches. Knit back and forth till wanted lenght, we do 48 rows. Cast off loosely.

Brioche stitch cloth

Super nice ribbing without having to purl at all. We used US 10 needles and double strands of Safran cotton.

Pattern:

Cast on 30 stitches.

Row 1-3: K

Row 4: K2, *YO, sl1, K1, repeat from * until last two stitches, K2

Row 5: K2, *YO, sl1, K2tog* repeat until last two stitches, K2

Repeat row 5 until wanted length. It appears longer on the needles than it really is.

Finishing rows, start from the right side:

Row 1: K2, *K1, K2tog* repeat until last two stitches, K2.

Row 2 and 3: K

Cast off loosely.
