Buy as many skeins as you want colours. Minimum 100 (200) 200 (300) g

Double pointed and short circular US 7

Gauge

4” = 18 m


Pattern
Cast on 120 s on the circular needles. PM at beginning of the round and after 60 s. Knit 7 garter ridges, before changing to stockinette. Knit stripes, 9 rounds of each colour. Whenever you start a new colour, PURL the first round with the new colour. Continue in stripes like that until your piece measures 11 inches. Bind off 8 stitches in each side during the 8th round of a colour stripe.

Arms
Cast on 34 s on double pointed needles. PM at beginning of the round and knit 7 garter ridges. Then do 7 rounds of stockinette before you bind off 8 stitches under the arm. Make another arm the same way.


Put all your pieces on to the same needle and knit another round. Change colour, and continue in the same manner as before until before last round with this colour. Decrease by K2tog 36 s evenly around the last round with the current colour.

Change colour as before. Knit until before last round with the colour. Decrease by K2tog 28 s evenly around the last round with this colour.

Change colour as before. Knit until before last round with the colour. Decrease by K2tog 20 s evenly around the last round with this colour. Change colour again and knit 8 rounds of stockinette, then 7 garter ridges. Bind off, sew under the arms and weave in all ends.
