Cast on 83 stitches with double strands using US needle 15.
Knit 9 rows back and forth.
Always slip the first stitch.
Start the broiche stitch:
Row 1:
Slip 1, k4, (for front band) * K1, knit the next stitch by sticking the needle into the stitch in the row below, and knit it like usual.*
Repeat from * to * until 5 stitches remain. K 5.

Row 2:
Slip 1, k4,(for front band) * Knit the next stitch by sticking the needle into the stitch in the row below, and knit it like usual, K 1*
Repeat from * to * until 5 stitches remain. K 5.
Repeat until the piece is 14 “
Start working the first front piece.

Make sure you start the different pieces from the same direction.

Front piece
Slip 1, k 4, work in brioche for 13 stitches, turn, work in brioche for 13 stitches, k 5.
Repeat until the piece is 22.5 “. Cast off and put the 5 stitches for the front band on a thread.

Knit the back piece in brioche, 47 stitches, until the piece is 22.5“. Cast off.

Knit the last front piece.
Work in brioche for 13 stitches, k 5, turn Slip 1, k 4, work in brioche for 13 stitches.
Repeat until the piece is 22.5 “. Cast off, but leave the 5 front band stitches on the needle.
Assemble the shoulders.

Increase one stitch towards the neck. Knit the front band until it is about 6”. 
NOTE: Depending on how loose you´re knitting the lenght may vary. make sure the band fits the neck of your piece. Do the same on the other front band, and join them using the kitchener stitch.
Sew them together if you can´t figure it out.

Assemble the front bands to the neck.

Pick up 32 stitches around the arm and knit back and forth from under the arm over 16 rows. Assemble the arm. Make another.
