Needles
US 2,5 circular needles and DPN´s

Gauge
4” =21 s stockinette

Chest measures flat
7.9 (8.2) 9.1 (10.9) 11.9 (12.6) 13.8 “ 

Cast on 136 s with Pickles Pure Alpaca, thin, MC on circular needles. Knit garter in the round, 6 ridges. Continue in stockinette.

Place marker (PM) like follows: Knit 26 s, PM. Knit 16 s, PM. Knit 52 s, PM. Knit 16 s, PM, knit 26 s.

Knit until the piece measures 0.5 ” from the last ridge. Start decreasing. Decrease round: 

Knit until 2 s before the first marker. SSK. Knit until next marker, K2tog. Repeat for the two next markers.

Do a decrease round every 0.6 “, 13 times alltogether. You now have 84 s left on the needle. Knit until the piece measures 9.5 “. On the next round bind off for arms: Knit 5 s past the first marker. Bind off 6 s. Repeat for the other side.

Arms
Cast on 28 s on DPN´s, and knit garter for 1.8”. Continue in stockinette and increase 4 s evenly around during the first round of stockinette. Knit until the arm measures 4.3 “ and bind off 6 s under the arm. (=26 s) Knit another arm.

Line up all the parts on the circular needle. Start knitting in the round with MC (Alpaca) and PM in between all the parts. Knit 18 past the last marker. You are now in the middle back and round starts here.

Switch to Abuelita 3 ply, MC yoke. Knit one round from the right side, turn and knit back. You will be knitting back and forth from now on out.

Woven stitch, row 1: Use double strands of CC yoke (Multi coloured yarn). *K1, Slip 1 WYIB* throughout the row.

Woven stitch, row 2: * Slip 1 WYIF, K1* throughout the row.

Switch back to MC yoke and Knit one row. Knit back while decreasing 10 s evenly around. (See decrease chart) Use K2tog decreases.

Don´t decrease mathematically evenly, but spread the decreases around a little on the different decrease rows for a neat result.

Woven stitch, row 3: * Use double strands of CC yoke (Multi coloured yarn). *Slip 1 WYIB, K1* throughout the row.

Woven stitch, row 4: * K1, Slip 1 WYIF* throughout the row.

Switch back to MC yoke and Knit one row. Knit back while decreasing 10 s. (See decrease chart) Use K2tog decreases.

Repaet the 4 woven stitch rows with decrease rows in between until you have decreased 6 rows in total.

You now have 64 s left on your needle. Switch back to MC yoke after 7 woven stitch rows, K 1 row. Bind off from the wrong side.
