Little Star-Baby Blanket

A perfect blanket to knit when the baby is due and you´ve got noe blanket:) It´s entertaining and quick to knit. The colours and pattern makes this a super fun project. The blanket is airy, soft, warm and super stretchy!
Yarn

Abuelita 3-ply Merino
100 g of 4 different colours

Needles
Circular needles 32” US 15

Gauge in pattern
15 s = 4"

Measurements
About 25x35". You can stretch it out while wet to make it even larger.

Cast on 99 stitches with double strand. The whole blanket is knitted with double strands.

Repeat these 6 rows:
Rows with odd numbers:
Knit

Row 2:
K 3 for edging * Make a star like this: P3tog, leave the stitches on the left needles, YO, K3tog (the same stitches), slp the 3 new stitches off the needle*
NOTE: Make sure to knit the stars loosely.
Repeat from * to * until 3 s remains, K3 for edging.

Row 4:
 K3 for edging, K1 to move the pattern, knit the star-stitch until 5 stitches remain, K5.

Row 6:
K3 for edging, K2 to move the pattern, knit the star-stitch until 4 stitches remain, K4.
We knitted 15 lines of stars, each line is made by knitting 2 rows, in each colour.

Cast off after an odd numbered row.
