Mai the ragdoll

Mai the ragdoll is sweet and cozy and easily made with some scrap fabrics and yarn. You will alsp need something to stuff it with.
Print out this pattern (a4). Cut 2 pieces of the head, 4 of the arms and 4 of the leg pieces. Remember to add seam allowance.
Right sides together, sew arms and legs first. Turn rigt side out and stuff them. Then baste the arms and legs to the right side of the front piece. Pins are okay if you feel in control.

Sew the legs on first. Then pin the back piece to the front and sew around (the arms will be inside the body, but the legs should be hanging out). Do not sew the bottom side were the legs are. Turn right side out and stuff. Use some soft yarn for hair, we had some leftover silk. Mais hairdo is made of quite long pieces of yarn bundled together with a seam in the middle. We made three bundles and sewed them on to the head down the same seam. Do piggy tales, and emberoider the face. We wanted simple features with cute rose cheeks.
