<p>Do you have a piece of furniture with no soul? Or is your kid&acute;s room pretty dull? These crocheted knobs made a little boy really happy.</p>

<p><strong>What you need:</strong><br />Old knobs, we used some old knobs made out of tree, 4 mm. <br />Scrapyarn, we used cotton<br />Crochet needle, 4,5 mm<br />Needle</p>

<p><strong>How we did it</strong><br />We wanted these knobs to be really tight, and used a technique called pjoning in Norwegian, also known as Bosnial Crochet. It basically means that you use the slip stitch.</p>

<p><strong>Mushroom</strong></p>
<p>Round 1: Make 3 stitches in a chain. Create a ring by making a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.<br /><br />Round 2: Crochet 2 slip stitches in each of the three chain stitches.<br /><br />Round 3-7: Increase every second stitch (Crochet two slip stitches in every second stitch).<br /><br />Round 8-10: Crochet one slip stitch in every stitch.<br /><br />Round 11: Change colour to the hem-colour. One slip stitch in every second stitch.<br /><br />Put the work on the knob.<br /><br />Round 12-14: One double crochet in every stitch.<br /><br />Round 15: One slip stitch in the inner part of every stitch. This makes the work tighten around the back of the knob.<br /><br />Sew on the dots on the red.</p>

<p><strong>The flower<br /></strong></p>
<p>Round 1: Make 3 stitches in a chain using yellow yarn. Create a ring by making a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.<br /><br />Round 2: Crochet 2 slip stitches in each of the three chain stitches.<br /><br />Round 3-7: Increase every second stitch (Crochet two slip stitches in every second stitch).<br /><br />Round 8-10: Change to the pink yarn. Crochet one slip stitch in every stitch.<br /><br />Round 11: Change colour to the hem-colour. One slip stitch in every second stitch.<br />Make the petals. First you make 7 loops around the flower. Put the needle into one of the stitches on the first round of pink. Make a slip stitch.Crochet 4 chain stitches, put the needle into the fifth stitch, creating the first loop. Make a slip stitch. Repeat until you have 7 loops.<br />Make the petals around the loops like this:<br />1 double crochet, 3 treples, 1 double crochet.<br />Repeat 6 more times.<br /><br />Put the work on the knob.<br /><br />Round 12-14: One double crochet in every stitch.<br /><br />Round 15: One slip stitch in the inner part of every stitch. This makes the work tighten around the back of the knob.</p>

<p><strong>The cat<br /></strong></p>
<p>Round 1: Make 3 stitches in a chain using beige yarn. Create a ring by making a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.<br /><br />Round 2: Crochet 2 slip stitches in each of the three chain stitches.<br /><br />Round 3-7: Increase every second stitch (Crochet two slip stitches in every second stitch).<br /><br />Round 8-10: Change to the brown yarn. Crochet one slip stitch in every stitch.<br /><br />Make the ears. First you make two loops like this:<br />Put the needle into one of the stitches on the last round of beige. Make a slip stitch. Crochet 2 chain stitches, put the needle into the third beige stitch, creating a small loop. Make one slip stitch in each of the next three stitches. Make another loop, 2 chain stitches, one slip stitch in the third stitch.<br />Make a chain stitch to turn and make the ears around the loops like this:<br />1 double crochet, 1 treble, 1 double crochet, one slip stitch in each of the next three stitches, 1 double crochet, 1 treble, 1 double crochet. Finish with a slip stitch.<br /><br />Round 11: One slip stitch in every second stitch.<br /><br />Put the work on the knob.<br /><br />Round 12-14: One double crochet in every stitch.<br /><br />Round 15: One slip stitch in the inner part of every stitch.
