Knit the bolero by making two identical pieces (sleeves). Sew them together in the back.
Cast on 49 s loosely on circular needles US 10. Knit 3 rounds in stockinette with DP needles US 5. (Change to circular needles when you get enough stitches.)
Start kniting moss stitch, K1, P1 (On the next round the purled stitch should be knitted over the knit stitch and the other way around. This will happen automatically, as you´re working with an odd number of stitches, so just keep on K1, P1)
Continue until the piece is 5.5”. Knit in stockinette on the next round while making 1 new stitch in each stitch (Knit in the front and the back loop of each stitch.)
= 98 s
Continue in a new moss pattern, K2, P2. ( Make sure to purl over stitch and stitch over purl on the next round, this will happen
automatically due to the number of stitches)
Continue until the piece is 6.2” from where you started the new moss pattern.
Castg off loosely. Make sure it doesn´t get too tight nor too wide over the chest.
Make an identical piece. Sew them together in the back, about 9“ should be joined.
