The body
Knitted bottom- up.
Cast on 204 s on ciruclar needles US 7 with double strands.
Knit rib in the round, K2, P2. for about 2”.
Swap to US 9 and continue in stockinette until the piece is 20.8”.

On the next round, cast off for sleeves. Start the round 4 s before the last round ended, to be able to cast off 8 s in a row:
Cast off 8 s for sleeves, K 37, cast off 20 for neck, K 37, cast off 8 s for sleeves, K 94.

Knit back and forth from now on.
Turn and knit the back piece in stockinette until it measures 30.7”. Leave the stitches for later.

Knit each of the front pieces in stockinette until they are the same length as the back piece.
Leave the s on the needles, and use kitchener’s stitch to weave the shoulders together (look this up on youtube.com if you’re unfamiliar with it, or cast off oand assemble.) Start from the shoulder and weave until you’re out of s on the front pieces. Leave the remaining s for collar.

Sleeves
Cast on 48 s loosely on DP needles US 7.
Knit rib in the round, K2, P2 for about 2”.
Swap to US 9 and stockinette and increase 4 s evenly on the next round.
From here, increase 1 s on each side of the first and last s of the round every 1.6” 13 times in total= 78 s.

Cast off the 4 last and 4 first s on the round when the piece is 22.8”.
Knit the other sleeve, and assemble from the wrong side.

Collar
Pick up s along each side of the neck opening (not the lower gap) so you’ll have 102s in total, counting in the s remaining in the back.

Knit a rib back and forth, K2, P2 on US 7 for about 5.1”.
Cast off loose enough for the head to fit when overlapping the collar. If there is room enough to cast off firmly we recommend this, as it will keep the collar more in shape.

Assemble the overlapping collar to the lower opening.
