New One Night Sweater
This baggy sweater is knitted on chunky needles with chunky yarn without getting too heavy or uncomfy, as it’s quite airy. It took us one single night to complete it. Make sure to follow the gauge to make your yarn last through the project!

The body
Knitted bottom up with triple strands, 2 strands worsted and 1 silk mohair.
Tip: If winding the yarn by hand, and having an uneven number of the worsted, make sure to wind the last skein into two balls to be able to knit with two strands.
Cast on 68 s (not too loosely as the sweater has no ribbing.)
Knit stockinette in the round until the piece is about 11.8 (lying flat).
Part the piece into front and back pieces at the start of the round and after 34 s.
Front and backpieces
Knit stockinette back and forth over the first 34 s until the piece is about 18.5" (This might look very short lying flat, but the piece will stretch out hanging).
Tip: Do not slip the first s on each row, as the edges will be too floppy.
Leave the s on the needle to weave the s together over the shoulders. If you’re a beginner cast off LOOSELY!
Knit the 34 remaining s in the same way.
Use kitchener’s stitch to weave the shoulders together. Start from each far end of each shoulder, and weave the first 11 s together from the right side.
For beginners, sew the 11 s together from the wrong side.
The remaining s shoudl be casted off for neck quite loosely.
Tip: If it looks like there will be a gap between the fron and back pieces, pick up a stitch and cast this off along wit the other ones.
Sleeves
Pick up 30 s around each sleeve hole.
Tip: Work along the same line around, and make sure to have at least 2 threads outside of the pick-up line to make enough hold.
Knit stockinette in the round.
Tip: This will be hard on a 32” needle, so check out magic loop on you tube to make it easier (pull out the cord between 2 s in the middle of the round). When the piece is about 10.3”, K2tog on all s on the next round before casting off.
Knit another sleeve.
