Paper seed pots

Environmental friendly and super practical as you can transplant the whole pot into the soil without the risk of damaging the seedling. The pot then dissolves leaving only the seedling. You can buy tools for making them, but have a look around the house first and see what you can find. Pickles used a balsamico dressing bottle. The best ones has kind of a hole up into the bottom.

Materials: Newspaper and a bottle, or whatever you want to use. Cut 3 inch strips down the pages.

Roll them tightly around the bottle, leaving 1,5 inch on the outside.

Fold it in and push it into the hole. It will stay there and your pot is finished.

If you don´t have a bottle with a hole just fold the paper as if you were wrapping a present. Fill it with soil right away and place it on a tray. The weight of the soil will keep it together. No glue is necesarry, just remember to be a little careful when lifting them later.

Fill your pots with soil, seeds and water and wait for the summer!
