Pretty paper beads

These paper beads end up looking like tiny sculptures. We love them! Experiment with different kinds of paper and textures and create your own recycled necklace.

What you need:
Paper, we used 120 g recycled drawingpaper, A3 size
Scissors
Glue
Glossy varnish
Straw
Wooden beads
Wire

How we did it:
Cut strips of paper along the long side of the paper. These shapes makes nice beads:

Glue one side of the paper. Roll it around a straw, starting with the widest bit of the paper strip. Pull the straw out when you´re done rolling. Let the glue dry. Put some varnish on, several coats make them supernice! Put them on a wire with wooden beads and voila!
