As the granny square has been quite hype over the last years. And we thought we should name our first crochet pouf after the hype. Crochet takes more yarn than knitting, but it amkes a more steady construction. And it´s an easy and very quick project. Perfect for your kids!

How we did it
Crochet four chain stitches, make a loop by making a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.
7 single crochets around the loop.
2 double crochets in each stitch. Close the round with a slip stitch. Make a chain stitch.
One double crochet, 2 single crochet stitches in the next stitch.
2 double crochet, 2 double crochet in the next stitch.
3 double crochet, 2 double crochet in the next stitch.
4 double crochet, 2 double crochet in the next stitch.
8. - 11. round
4 double crochet, crochet the next two together.
You´ll have to consider when to put the filling into your pouf. We filled it with rags from old clothes stuffed in an old pillow case, and were able to put the filling in at a late stage. It you are filling it with a cushion, you´ll probably have to put it in earlier.
3 double crochet, crochet the next two together.
2 double crochet, crochet the next two together.
1 double crochet, crochet the next two together.
Crochet two and two stitches together until the hole is closed.
Assemble and enjoy!
