Cast on 48 stitches. Knit in the round.
1st round: * K1, P3* Repeat from * to * throughout the round.
2nd round: * K2, *P1, K3* Repeat from * to * until 2 stitches remain. P1, K1.
Repeat these 2 round until the piece is about 18". Use a thick needle, or your fingers, to get the thread through the rest of the stitches. Tighten and assemble.

The pouf can be filled with a big duvet, some cheap IKEA cushions or if you want a real hard pouf; cut lots of old clothes into pieces. If your knitting is loose, and there are holes you can see through, you should use a pillow or duvetcover in a matching colour to put your filling into.

Close the pouf in the other end.
