Roll cowl

A soft cowl perfect for Spring! We just love the way the multicoloured cotton yarn is looking in this project, slightly toned down by the thin alpaca yarn. A perfect beginner´s project.

Measurements
About 47" all the way around

Cast on 120 s loosely with double strands - 1 cotton and 1 alpaca. Knit the whole cowl in stockinette in the round with double strands. Cast off loosely when you run out of yarn or the cowl is about 8.6".

Tips: To assemble the ends, we recommend that you cut the yarn and knit the end along with the yarn your knitting with.

Knit in the round. Cast on 46 stitches on a US 15 needle.
Knit stockinette over the next 2.3" using the same colour, colour 1. From here on you will knit colour 2 every second row. Do not cut the ends for every round, the transitions will not be visible.
When the cowl is 9.4" you´ll start knitting with colour 2 only. Knit another 2.3" before you cast off loosely.
