Spin-a-round neckwarmer

It really is a neckwarmer, but knit with so many stitches that it becomes a long scarf with no ends. The stitch patten is of Italian origin.

Materials:
Abuelita worsted, 200 g. We used the colour Marzipan pig
Pickles Silk Mohair, 50 g. We used the colour Flamingo
US 19 circular needles.

Pattern:
Cast on 154 stitches on US 19 circular needles with one strand from each of the two yarns. Place marker at the beinning of the round.

Round 1: Knit
Round 2: *YO, K1* until the end of the round
Round 3: Drop all YO´s off the needle, Knit the regular stitches.
Round 4: *Knit the 4. stitch on the left needle, then the 3. Then knit the 1. stitch and slip it off the needle. Knit the 2. stitch and slip all 3 stitches off the needle.* until the end of the round.
Round 5: Knit
Round 6: *YO, K1* until the end of the round
Round 7: Drop all YO´s off the needle, Knit the regular stitches.
Round 8: Tha start on this row is a little tricky, since you want to displace the pattern two stitches. Place the last two stitches from the previous round on a cable needle (or your pinky). TThen knit the 2. stitch on the left needle, then the 1. Leave both stitches on the needle and place the two from your cable needle on there. Knit the first and let go, K the second and slip all 3 stitches off the needle. Continue as in round 4.

Repeat these 8 rounds until you are almost out of yarn. Cast off after a round 4 or 8. K while casting off.
