Spring paper-garland
Making a paper-garland is easy breezy! We think of springtime when we look at it, but this is an all-year-round decoration. We even used it to decorate the Christmas tree. This makes a really nice gift too.

What you need:
Paper, preferably thin paper, as it´s easier to glue together.
Scissors
Thread
Glue

How we did it:
Cut out double triangle-shapes in the size you want. If you want a super-even garland, you can make one shape in cardboard and draw around it before you cut. We trusted our eyes, and it turned out pretty even.
Fold your paper and start cutting double shapes.

Now, unfold your shape, and glue the entire inside area. Press it around tour thread and squeeze. Repeat for as long as there´s paper and patience;)

Hang it and enjoy!
This is a free paper craft project from pickles.no. We´ll be thrilled if you use it. Please link to us if you do;)

I love this little garland-honey...I've wanted to make a garland, but everything takes too many steps and at this time of the year, I'm already stepping fast, we all are, right?
My daughter and son-in-law have a fab art supply store online (rexart.com) and when I'm visiting them in Miami where they have their building and stock, I get showered with lots of little free art materials that are redundant and taking up space. this year, the best thing was a box of little "books" of paper samples. All so stunning, many of rice paper, Japanese materials, magical way-too-expensive- to-ever-buy-in-regular-sizes. No two pages alike. But they will be perfect for the little triangle garland and I can make it really long! Maybe even embellish each triangle, who knows what happens when you get inspired.
Thank you so much for this fine site...I just found you.
Ta da! You inspired me to make my own!
