OR 200 (300) 300 g g Pickles Pure Thin Alpaca

Needles
US 4 and 6 DP needles and small circular needles.

Gauge per 4”
20 stitches

Use 2 strands. Knit in the round. Start at the top.
Cast on 112 stitches loosely using US 4 circular needles.
Knit a rib over the next 5”. BUT, do you want some extra hold you should knit round 4 like this to create holes for a cord.
*k2tog, YO, k1, p1*

After the rib, you´ll switch to US 6 circular needles. Knit on in tockinette until your piece is 6.7”. Mark your work before the two last and after the two first stitches on the round. This will be the middle back. On every second round you will increase one stitch on each side of these four stitches. Do this by lifting the yarn between two stitches uo, tvisting it, slipping it onto your left needle and knitting it. Increase like this 11 rounds in total = 134 stitches. Bind off the four stitches in the middle back as well as the four in the middle in front = 126 stitches devided on two legs = 63 stitches.

Put the stitches for one leg on a thread. Knit the other leg in the round until it is 24”. Switch to US needles 4 and knit a rib, K1, P1. For size 1 and 3/4 you should knit the first two stitches on the first round together to create an equal number of stitches.
Knit the rib until it is 4.5”. Bind off. Repeat for the other side.
Assemble the trousers. Make a cord and you´re done!
