Full length: 31 (33) 34”The body
Cast on 276 s on US 2 1/2 in Pickles Merino Tweed.
Knit a rib, K1 through the back loop, P1 for about 2,2”.
Switch to US 4 and stockinette. Place a marker (PM) at the beginning of the round and after
138 stitches to mark the sides of the sweater.
Increase like this on the second round of stockinette:
K1, make 1 right, knit until one stitch remain before the next marker, make 1 left, K2, make 1 right, knit until one stitch remain before the next marker, make 1 left, K1.

Continue in stockinette and repeat the increase round every 2” 11 times in total =
320 s.

Continue in stockinette until the piece is 26.7”.
Cast off 8 s in each side on the next round, 4 s on each side of the markers = 304 s.

Sleeve ribbing
Cast on 84 s on DP needles US 2 1/2 in Pickles Merino Tweed. PM at the beginning of the round. Knit a rib, K1 through the back loop, P1 for about 1.2”.
Cast off 8 stitches, 4 s on each side of the marker 76 s.
TIP: If you want longer sleeves, switch to US 4 and stockinette and knit them as long as you like before casting off the 8 s.

Knit another sleeve rib.

The yoke
Place the sleeve ribbings onto the same circular needles as the body, one in each place where you decrease in the sides. Cast off edges facing each other = 456 s.

Start the round at the end of the back piece/start of the sleeve. PM here.
Knit 1 round = 456 s.
Knit stockinette in the round over all s for about 6.2” before starting the pattern on the next side. As you have long colour shifts, make sure to change the positions of the two threads when knitting more than 6 s in the same colour. Changing the position make them tangle up.
The pattern is knitted in Pickles Angora.
After having finished the pattern you will have 144 s.
Continue in stockinette in Pickles Angora and decrease 20 s evenly on the next round.
Make 3 new s by making backward loops on the left needle. Knit an i-cord cast off using a DP needle US 2 1/2:
*K2, SSK. Place the 3 s on the right needle back onto the left*.
Repeat between * and * until 3 s remain, K3tog.
Sew under the sleeves.
