Sunshine top

Summer and linen go well together. Linen is almost papery in the structure, yet it has a gorgeous shine to it. A super easy project, knitted in one piece and assembled in the sides.

24 or 32” circular neeldes US 8

Gauge per 4”
13 s and 20 rows

Cast on 66 s in Pickles Summer Shine.

Knit a rib back and forth, K1, P1, for about 1.6”.

Continue in garter stitch until the piece is about 12.6”.
Cast on 20 new stitches in each end of your piece for sleeves. Make backward loops.
=  106 s.

(It might look tight, but the garter stritch stretches quite a bit, and it is a tight fitting around the arms. Feel free to knit it longer if you thin you´ll need to.)
Cast off to make room for the head on the next row:
K 34 s, cast off 38 s loosely, k 34 s.

On the next row cast on 38 s wher you casted off for the head by making backward loops. Make sure to make them quite loosely.
Continue in garter stitch for another 4.7”

Cast off 20 s in the
beginning of the two next rows, so that you cast off the stitches you casted on for sleevs.

Knit the back piece in garter stitch until it is as long as the front piece down to where the rib starts. Knit a rib K1, P1, 1.6”.

Cast off loosely.

Assemble the sides.
