Cast on 150 s on US 4 circular needles with the contrast colour and work ribbing in the round, k1, p1 for 4”. Change to US 6 needles and continue in stockinette. Increase 34 s on the first round of stockinette. You now have 184 s. Place markers at the beginning of the round and after 92 s to mark the sides. Work until the piece measures 11 “. Change to Main colour and work 2 more rounds. Divide into front and back pieces.
Start from the right side, knit back and forth from now on. Cast on 5 s on the needle and knit 92 s. Make 5 new s at the end of the needle by making backward loops. Work 3 rows of stockinette. Place a marker after 51 s to mark the middle front. Work 2.5 “ stockinette. Start wrap and turns:

On the next right side row work 24 s past the marker. Wrap and turn. Purl 48 s. Wrap and turn, finish the row. Work 3 rows of stockinette.
Repeat the “Wrap and turn” section with 4 s more each time before you do the turns. (Next time work 28 s past the marker and 56 s back and so on) until you have made 6 turns back and forth.
With kitcheners stitch assemble 26 s from each shoulder, start on the outer edge. Bind off the remaining stitches and weave in all ends.
