<p>This vest is knit in single colour daisy stitch. An instant favourite! <em>The picture shows an XS, but the pattern is for a size L, as we want to alternate between sizes for the free patterns</em></p>

Pickles Cashmerino Silk</a> or <a href="http://shop.textalk.se/en/artgrp.php?id=11103&amp;grp=302959" target="_blank">Pickles Extra Fine Merino</a>, US 7 and US 13 circular needles.</p>

<p><strong>Pattern:</strong></p>
<p>Body piece<br />Cast on 74 s on US 7 circular needles with double strands of yarn. Knit the ribbing, K2, P2 for 3 inches. Switch to US 13 needles. <br /><br />Row 1: K. Increase 31 s evenly distributed troughout the row <br />(= 105 s on the needles)<br /><br />Row 2: *K1, P3tog, (don&acute;t let the stitches of the needle), YO, Purl the same 3 stitches together again* K1.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<br />Row 3: M 2 s, K all s and M 2 s at the end of the row.<br /><br />Row 4: *K1, P3tog, (don&acute;t let the stitches of the needle), YO, Purl the same 3 stitches together again* K1.<br /><br />Repeat row 3 and 4 until you have 121 s on the needles. <br />Continue in daisy stitch pattern:<br /><br />K rows from the right side, alternate between row 4 and row 4b for daisies: <br /><br />Row 4b: K1, P1, *K1, P3tog, (don&acute;t let the s of the needle), YO, Purl the same 3 stitches together again* K1, P1, K1.<br /><br />Continue until your piece measures 14.2 inches. Last row is a K row. Divide your piece into 3 pieces:<br /><br />Front piece 1:<br />Start from the wrong side. Continue in stitch pattern for 24 s. M1. Continue in daisy stitch over those 25 s until the front piece measures 10.5 inches. Bind off from the right side.<br /><br />Back piece:<br />Start from the wrong side. Continue in stitch pattern for 73 s until the back piece measures 10.5 inches. Bind off from the right side.<br /><br />Front piece 2:<br />Start from the wrong side. M1. Continue in daisy stitch for 24 s. M1. Continue in stitch pattern over those 25 s until the front piece measures 10.5 inches. Bind off from the right side.<br /><br />Assemble the shoulder seams</p>
<p>With US 7 needles, pick up 178 s along the side, round the back of the neck and down the other side. K2, P2 for 2 inches. Cast off.
