A warm and more grown-up shaped cape than the usual a-shaped ones. The cape might not look very long while knitting, but when worn it will stretch out quite a lot.

Cast on 114 s.

Round 1: Knit
Round 2: Purl


Repeat these 2 rounds.


Increase 10 stitches on round 1 after about 2”, and every 2” 3 times in total = 144 s.
Knit another 2” and you´ve just finished round 2.

Knit garter stitch back and fort over the first 72 stitches from here. Leave the other stitches on some spare needles.

Increase 1 s in the beginning and end of every 4th row 21 times in total = 114 s.


Knit another 2” before casting off for the head like this:
K 47, cast off 20 s, k 47.
Cast on 20 s where casted off on the next row.

Knit another 2”.
K2tog at the beginning and end of every 4th row until you have 72 s, and just finished a row from the wrong side.

Use kitchener´s stitch to weave the stitches on the two needles together.
