The small pieces of tweed in the yarn are at their best when knitted either in stockinette stitch or in open and calm structures. Here are my favorites:Braids. With lots of knit stitches, the tweed pieces really have room to shine. It’s easy to imagine, for example Mette sweater in the color Gråpus Tweed

Or Downward Spirally In the color Natur Tweed. The simple braid with only 1 stitch changing places is perfect for this yarn.

Bead knitting was also incredibly nice, I think. I wanted to make a simple cardigan and replace stockinette with seed stitch. Ribbed knitting with 2 knits and 2 purls brings out the stitch pattern beautifully.

If you combine the yarn with Soft Fuzz, you get a wonderfully soft, matte and “woolly” fabric and can use needles from 5 – 10 mm with beautiful results.

How about a Xoxo genser in Natur Tweed or a Fat&Sassy necklacer in Greypus Tweed with matching Soft Fuzz?

Combine it with Silk Mohair for an exclusive, soft, durable fabric and you can use needles from 4 – 8 mm to achieve a beautiful stitch pattern.

We have so far knitted up Suits me FIne sweater in this combination and have several of our designs on the needles.
