Kristin Frøsland lives in Oslo and is for Norwegian knitters better known as @einkopptetakk. She makes a shabby piece of scrap yarn look like a hundred dollars.

Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a country girl in the capital city (where I still miss the country side air). I like it best when I have my knitting in my lap, wear something home knitted, have some nice tea in my cup, lots of inspiration around and lots of light.

Tell us a bit about where you like to knit
I mostly knit in the sofa at home, as I have full access to my stash. I also like knitting ith my friends in cafes or along Akerselva (a river in Oslo) when the weather allows it.

What is the nicest thing you have made in our yarn?
It has to be my newest garment – The Warm Garland Sweater. I love the graphic pattern. It is just as nice and easy to wear as I imagined. Also I am still very much in love with my PicklesXDagny Dress.

What Pickles garment have you or someone in your family worn the most and why?
I knitted the Airy Sweater in a greyish purple for my oldest sister. She has worn it to bits. I think it is because it is a bit dressed up and fuzzy but still easy to wear in everyday life.

What makes knitting so nice?
So many reasons. For me nothing beats the feeling of creating a garment you love on your own. Also knitting contains everything from fiber and garment production to stitch patterns, fitting and design. You can never be fully taught.
