“The goal is the road is” a Norwegian saying. Meaning that you should enjoy the process, not only thedestination. This is something we tend to forget when knitting. We just want to cast off, get it done! Knitting should be about enjoying the process, not wanting to finish it.

That’s why @picklesheidi has made this pattern. It looks a bit complicated, but really it’s not. It’s mostly a bit of a snooze fest so you can watch Netflix and keep a steady and cozy paste. In between you need to make an odd cable or dot, but if your series is super exciting and you forget it’s no crises if you make it a couple of round after what the pattern says. Sit back and enjoy making this sweater!

Let 2019 be the year where you too teach yourself to be the queen of the process not the ruler of the destination. The Road is the Goal is out now in wonderfully soft Pickles Cozy, a blow yarn with load of baby alpaca.
