Part of the Pickles DRYSS collection of hand dyed yarn. A fluffy and filling mohair yarn, perfect for soft and cozy projects on chunky needles! The yarn is lightweight and long-lasting, and can be knitted very loosely, without losing it’s shape. Our producers in South Africa are experts in mohair yarn, and we agree with them that this yarn is the perfect mix of mohair, wool and nylon - with 93% natural fibers. The mohair fibres are very long, and therefore don’t shed too much. Each skein is unique. Because you cannot find one that is just like it and because it has been hand dyed by a female refugee in Norway. Strong and unexpected colors evolve when cultures meet. The names of the colors are from the woman's home country.
