Thin Yarn in Alpaca and Wool - with or without silk mohair to go along!

Fine alpaca blend with wool and a touch of mohair. With Pickles Bliss, we've perfected alpaca. We've added wool to make the fabric lighter, a bit of mohair to create that exclusive finish, and the alpaca adds beautiful drape to the finished fabric without sagging. We use 2.5 mm to 4 mm needles with single thread, or on thicker needles together with a companion thread. The yarn is perfect for all patterns that call for a thin yarn with a companion thread.   40% baby alpaca, 40% highland wool, 20% mohair | 50g balls | 175 meters | Knit on 2.5-4 mm needles | Gauge per 10 cm: 23-26 stitches / 32-40 rows | Hand wash

Pickles Bliss is perfect for patterns knitted on needles from 2.5 mm to 4 mm. The color palette is constantly evolving, with a beautiful mix of dusty, natural, and some fresh colors. If you're unsure whether Pickles Bliss is suitable for your project, you can send us an email or message us on Instagram, and we'll help you out!   Here you'll find all our knitting patterns and yarn kits made with this yarn.   We recommend hand washing in lukewarm/cold water, but you can centrifuge the garment (make sure you don't set the rinse program, only the centrifuge) to get the most out of the water. Then lay the garment straight on the floor and stretch/block it into the shape you want. The garment will dry in a few hours.
