Extra fine merino. Pickles Soft Merino is a classic extra fine merino yarn, perfect for baby clothes and blankets. Since the way it's spun means it doesn't sag or lose its shape, we also use it for adult garments, or in combination with a companion yarn. The garments you knit can be worn directly on the skin by even the most sensitive, and are guaranteed to be itch-free. We knit it on a 3 mm to 4 mm needle with single thread, or on thicker needles together with a companion thread. The fibers come from Peru, and the sheep are not exposed to mulesing.   100% merino from Peru | 50 g balls | 125 meters | Knit on 3 - 4.5 mm needles | Gauge per 10 cm: 18-23 stitches / 26-32 rows | Hand wash

We have a nice color palette that is constantly evolving, with a combination of fresh and muted colors, perfect for children and babies, as well as nice natural colors. If you are unsure whether Pickles Soft Merino is suitable for the project you are knitting, you can send us an email or a message on instagramand we will help you further!   Here you will find all our knitting patterns and yarn kits made in the yarn.   We recommend hand washing in lukewarm/cold water, but you can centrifuge the garment (make sure you don't set the rinse program, only the centrifuge) to get the most out of the water. Then lay the garment straight on the floor and stretch/block it into the shape you want. The garment will dry in a few hours.
