Knitting course Your first sweater. Learn how to knit a sweater from the top down using simple techniques! You should already know how to cast on and knit straight. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Choose size from 7-8 years up to 3XL

When: The course runs over two sessions. You must knit at home in between the sessions. Sunday 02.11.25 and 09.11.25 from 10-12. Come 9.30 for yarn purchase on the first course day.

Part 1 – 02.11
The door opens at 9.30 for the purchase of yarn and Needles.

– Cast on / increase stitches
– Knit straight stitches
– Knit purl stitches

Part 2 – 09.11
– Picking up stitches
– Felling off
– Attaching threads

You will need

– 40 and 80 cm circular needles 12 mm
– 40 (and possibly 80) cm circular needles 8 mm
– Yarn approx. 110 m per 50 g – sizes 7-8 (9-10) 11-12 years (2XS) XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL need approx. 200 (200) 250 (250) 230 (300) 350 g each of two different colors. I have used Pickles Cozy. Of course, you can buy everything you need at the course.
